wanna read something funny?

There's this blog that my husband reads a lot written by a guy who calls himself the fat cyclist. He can be pretty stinkin' funny even for someone who's not a cyclist like myself. Anyhoo, he asked his readers to write him a guest post along the lines of I’ve never suffered as badly on a bike as when . . .

So my husband turned in an entry. It is HILARIOUS -- in my personal and professional opinion. (Yeah, I helped him a little bit--but it's purely his humor and writing genius).
He was featured on the blog today.

I think you should all take a look!

family pictures!

We finally got some family pictures taken again!

Hooray for pictures that actually include the baby!

Thank you to my great friends Emily and Nate for taking them.
Seriously, thanks guys!

This picture makes me look SOO skinny. Love this sexy man next to me too.

aren't my girls seriously adorable?

The only thing I wish was that the light lasted longer, and that my kids would have actually cooperated in more pictures.

Such is life.

tub

There's too many kids in this tub.
There's too many elbows to scrub.
I just washed a behind
That I'm sure wasn't mine,
There's too many kids in this tub.

sick.

Sorry for my absence. I've been a bit sick lately,

I've have a sore scratchy throat, sinus pressure, runny nose, sneezing and coughing fits ... you know how it is.

But I don't know if it would have hit me so hard if I wasn't already infected ...

Seriously, my condition has me wiped out! It's been plaguing me for just over 5 years now, though it's gotten more intense as the years have gone on. My symptoms are headaches and impatience; exhaustion from interrupted nights; sore throat from yelling; sore feet, ankles, and back from stepping on toys, tripping over 'creations' and being climbed all over; coughing sneezing runny nose from the unsanitary condition of our home; and I may even be becoming slightly deranged. Don't even get me started on the stretch marks.

And I think my heart is becoming dangerously enlarged...
