Third time's a charm. . .

If you haven't yet heard. . .

we are now the proud parents of 3 beautiful daughters!

Friday, August 20th at 7:19 p.m. our third beautiful girl, Brynn Claire Sackley, was born at 6 lb 15 oz and 20 inches long.

Isn't she just perfect?!

I think so. . .

Here are some pictures to make up for my lack of posting. . .

Me and my sister Amber showing our sexy pregnant silhouettes. I'm due in a week, Amber's has 2 months left.

This is just a cute picture of the girls playing on the bleachers at the park a couple of days before the baby is born. Two of a kind aren't they? (not for long!)

Finally, she's here!!! I'm feeling TONS better after my 9 month pregnancy and 3 hour (but epidural-less) labor. Everyone's so excited to see her!

What a doll!

"Cute widdow hands, Cute widdow eyes, Cute widdow.` . ."--said in high, squeaky, almost inaudible 2-year old voice

Mommy and baby after a shower and bath.

Awwwwwwww!

She's got the most adorable wrinkly forehead EVER!

I just can't get enough. . .

A bit blurry but how can you not love this picture?

Oh my cuteness!

Sweet baby Brynn. . .

Kisses from big sister. . .

All the girls doting on Baby Brynn. . .

Here we are together in our FAMILY!

Still finding ways to get into things. . .

After baby's first bath at home, don't just-bathed babies smell the BEST!

Sleeping angel!

Seriously cute, no?

Okay, okay, just one more. . .

Obviously we can't get enough of Brynn and all of her innocent and adorable sweetness. We've also been lucky enough to have a super laid back, non-crying baby so far. (knock on wood)

*Happy sigh*

Thus far, being a mommy of 3 is just the BEST THING EVER! --no exaggeration

Till next week (when I'm left alone to try out this mommy of 3 thing. . . wish me luck!)

We like to Party!

♫ We like to Party, We like, We like to party. . .♪

Danna turns 4 on August 29th!

But we had a party for her last week anyway.

Why the early party? Well, it's cause I'm nesting, first of all, and I don't think I"ll be as on top of it after this baby gets here.
So instead, here's very pregnant me with a herd of toddlers in swimming suits in the backyard with water balloons and frosting-loaded cupcakes and lots of smiles. . .

Crazy, but fun. . .

the big 4!
being bashful as everyone sang "Happy Birthday" super-duper off key. . .

Happy Birthday Lovely Girl!!!

Independence. . .

As this baby is on the brink of arriving I have thought a bit about (or rather, had a mini nervous breakdown about) how to take on 3 different kids with 3 different levels of dependence on me, or independence from me.

My thought process has always been, "the more they can do for themselves the better, right?"
Well, now I can't decide . . .

Exhibit 1: 2 year old and DVDs

Carina MUST on her own open the case, pull out the DVD (I cringe every time expecting it to snap in half), carry it to the TV with finger in the hole, push eject on DVD player, insert DVD, and then push play.

If the tray doesn't eject fast enough or she can't pull the movie out of the case we often get a DVD thrown across the room. Pretty fun. . . not!

(*on a complete side note aren't squatting kid pictures just the BEST!!!! I love them! Maybe I'm weird)

Exhibit 2: 3 year old making a sandwich

Danna's hungry and mommy doesn't get right on making lunch? Have no fear she's on it. . .

first take out ingredients

spread the mayo and mustard

add cheese (sliced herself), meat and lettuce

and chow down!
Who needs mom anyway?

Exhibit 3: 2 year old attempts chocolate milk
(another side note, because I put juice in a cup that was not 'her pink-un' Carina refused to drink it and insisted she make something herself while mom was in the shower. Do I smell "terrible twos" around here?)

yes, 24-ish pound Carina pulled this completely full milk jug from the fridge.

And the finished product. More chocolate syrup on her arms, legs, shirt, floor, (and my bed sheets randomly), than in the cup.
sorry about the fuzzy pictures (camera retarded-ness on my part)

Conclusion?

Lock them up in their room once this baby gets here?
Teach Danna to make chocolate milk in special pink cup especially for her sister?
Lock up all DVDs and never rent from the library again?
Attach a hose to our sink and hose down the kitchen every night?
. . .

I can't decide.

Strawberries!

Strawberries are YUMMY!

Plain and simple. . .

They just aren't that easy for a fat lady to pick. . .
