Weeks like this. . .

make me want to pull my hair out.

When my kids get into mischief, they REALLY go at it ruining one thing after another until I'm ready to tape them down in their beds so they can't move.

Instead, though, we're taking a trip to my parent's house so they get out of this insane habit for awhile. Or in the least, destroy gramma's poor house for awhile and give ours a rest, wah ha ha ha--evil laugh :)

Anyway, here's a basic rundown of my last few days. . .
  • we got a 2nd--yes SECOND--layer of coloring on the refrigerator door, this time with recognizable flowers so we know who can't blame it on her little sister again. . .
  • my piano bench was covered in juice from the girls' supposedly 'non spill' cups, which makes for a very sticky removal of my rear end after my piano lesson yesterday. . .
  • Danna came out with an open bottle of nail polish yesterday afternoon after Mike got after her for being too quiet. . . luckily it was clear and she surprisingly didn't spill a drop, she just reeked of said polish.
  • in addition to above, she had managed to empty my entire bottle of nail polish remover in our bathroom, Mike and I might have been asphyxiated over night and left our poor, mischievous and unruly children orphaned. . .
  • the eating, and smashing of Danna's play make-up she got for christmas, it was a miracle it missed the carpet. . .
  • the girls got into the flour bucket again. . .
  • Carina took a blue crayon and colored on every flat surface imaginable. When I caught her she started trying to color on her legs and belly instead. Oh great, even better, thanks kid. . .
  • I found pieces of leftover Christmas candy stuck into the cube of butter on our butter dish in the shape of a face. . .
  • there are hand prints, lip prints and little people with ponytails painted on the bathroom mirrors with hand soap. Danna informed me that she was giving me kisses, yep, sure you were. . .
  • strawberry yogurt was used as a lotion, and a window cleaner, and a floor cleaner in the kitchen. . .
  • the chocolate syrup mysteriously was turned over (and opened) in the refrigerator. . .
  • of course, the toilet papering of the bedroom and hallway, which is always a blast to pick up. . .
  • and my favorite, Danna got into my lotion in the bathroom (imagine white carpets), where she proceeded to spill most of the bottle onto the floor. Then, realizing she might get in trouble grabbed the window cleaner from the bathroom counter and tried to clean up the mess herself. . . thick, soapy mess. . .

Anyone up for a few extra kids?
