Birthday Girl

My sweet baby Brynn turned 1 last week!!!!

I had great plans for her birthday to be unforgettable but things got crazy and so we're going to save that plan for when she's older and might actually remember the effort I put in for her.

She still definitely got a lot of attention all day.

And we made some yummy pink cupcakes together ...

We finally had her "party" at about 9:30 that night which is why the pictures aren't the best.

She was not as interested in the finished cupcake--but the frosting was okay.

She was utterly giddy about her presents though

(who cares that these were all toys we pulled out from being stored in the basement-certainly not her)

here's a really bad picture of how her cupcakes turned out. They were supposed to be cherries if you couldn't tell. And the colors were really cute--not so much in this picture.

I don't know how I got lucky enough to have such a sweet little girl. We love her more than anything!
